Over the last few years, we have worked on a massive cross-section of projects on behalf of many local councils in both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. Our key areas of expertise here include:
- Rural development work. We have now developed a number of rural development strategies which provide a clear sense of how local government can play a central role in harnessing resources and addressing the needs of rural inhabitants. We have specific experience and a demonstrable track record within the field of rural tourism and heritage projects
- Retailing and town centre management work. In addition to developing and delivering capacity building programmes for retailers, we have led a series of projects which involve the development of strategies in areas such as town centre management, the development of the evening and night time economy and the enhancement of the independent retail sector
- Sectoral review and strategy work. We have now carried out a number of major sectoral review and strategy projects which seek to identify key barriers to growth and to provide a clear developmental strategy. In recent years, much of our focus here has been on emerging sectors such as the creative industries sector, the environmental industries sector and the social economy sector
